Our Approach to Growth
Sensory-Integrated, Individualized, and Strength-based
Our therapy is guided by each person's interests, strengths, and natural curiosity. Through sensory-rich, individualized experiences, we create engaging opportunities for children and adults to explore, connect, and communicate. By following each person's lead, we support development in ways that are meaningful, motivating, and enjoyable—fostering growth through experiences that feel purposeful and personal.
Mobile and Nature-Based Services
We provide flexible mobile therapy services delivered in environments where individuals feel most comfortable and engaged, including homes, schools, community settings, and outdoor spaces. By incorporating nature-based and real-world experiences, we support meaningful learning that extends beyond the therapy session and into everyday life.
Whole-Person Development Focus
We believe communication develops best when the whole person is supported. Our approach integrates emotional, social, sensory, cognitive, and physical development to foster meaningful growth. By meeting each person where they are, we help build communication skills while nurturing confidence, connection, and resilience.

We support children and adults as they explore the world around them, build relationships, and develop the skills needed to communicate and participate more fully in everyday life. Through sensory-rich, individualized, and person-centered approaches, we help individuals strengthen speech and language skills while fostering curiosity, resilience, self-expression, and emotional well-being.
Our goal is to empower each person to grow in their own way and at their own pace, while cultivating a lasting sense of connection, confidence, and discovery.
Our Therapy in Action
Sessions are available in the community, outdoors, at home, or in school settings, bringing therapy directly to each individual in the environments where they feel most comfortable and engaged. This holistic approach supports learning in everyday settings where communication skills can be naturally practiced and meaningful growth can occur.
By embedding therapy into real-life experiences, individuals have the opportunity to develop and generalize their communication skills in ways that feel functional and authentic. Each session is thoughtfully designed to be engaging, enjoyable, and individualized, while supporting confidence, independence, and meaningful connection in everyday interactions.

Ellie Garrett
Hello! My name is Ellie Garrett, and I am the owner and a speech-language pathologist at Blooming Imaginations. I have experience working in both private practice and school-based settings, supporting children and adults with a variety of communication needs.
I hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have specialized training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), basic sign language, and sensory-integrated approaches. My areas of interest include cognitive-communication, AAC, Autism, aphasia, and supporting individuals with diverse communication styles and needs.
I am passionate about helping individuals build confidence, develop resilience, advocate for themselves, and form meaningful connections with the world around them. I provide holistic, person-centered, strengths-based, sensory-integrated, and nature-inspired therapy that creates meaningful and engaging experiences for children and adults. My approach focuses on the whole person, and I work closely with families, caregivers, and support teams to ensure strategies are practical and can be incorporated into home, school, community, and everyday life.
What drives me most is seeing individuals gain confidence, achieve goals that once felt challenging, and experience the joy of communicating and connecting with others. I love incorporating the outdoors into therapy, using activities like walks, hikes, and nature exploration as opportunities for meaningful learning, connection, and growth.
In my free time, I enjoy fly fishing, cross-country skiing, hiking, camping, rafting, and spending quality time with my family.
Victoria Kuchera
Hi! I'm Victoria Kuchera, a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow at Blooming Imaginations. My background as a youth case manager, combined with experience in public schools and private practice, helps me support children and their families in thoughtful, accessible ways that encourage communication and confidence.
I earned my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Virginia and have since made my way back out west! My clinical interests include early intervention, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and language development, with a focus on supporting each child's strengths, needs, and meaningful growth through a mental health-informed lens.
I love being part of a team that provides play-based, strengths-based, sensory-integrated, and nature-inspired therapy! My goal is to provide individualized, family-centered care that helps children build meaningful communication skills, confidence, and emotional well-being across everyday environments, while honoring each family's unique needs and ensuring they feel empowered throughout their journey.
In my downtime, I enjoy spending time on the river, practicing yoga, skiing, and trying new foods!
